Here’s a quick question: How many of you have seen those little coupon-clippings in your local newspaper or those print-able ones online?
I’m sure many of you have seen them, but did you know those coupons can save you big bucks in the long run? Yes they surely can and it’s all about looking out for them, knowing what to buy, where to buy it and when to buy it.
Many times stores have offers and distribute coupons to their customers for added savings. Sometimes they hand it out when you’re cashing out, sometimes they mail it or sometimes they have them published online in their local newspapers. However, most times customers couldn’t be bothered about coupons, because they figure, what’s the sense in trying to save $0.50 on laundry detergent, why go through all that hassle simply for $0.50. It’s too much work to cut or print those coupons anyway, they’ll go to the store and buy their detergent for the regular price and be out of there in no time.
Now, how many of you use that rationale when it comes to coupons? I’m certain majority of you do and it’s perfectly understandable. You have enough going on in the day as it is, why add coupons to your list!
Did you know though that coupons are money? Imagine buying your groceries for the week and when you go to cash-out, the cashier tells you, you’ll only be paying a fraction of what your groceries are worth, I bet you’d feel ecstatic, now wouldn’t you? Of course you would, who wouldn’t?

Suddenly you realise you have yet another coupon in your pocket for garlic bread and when you check it’s a $1.00 off coupon and the store is selling the item for $1.00; which translates to free garlic bread.
Interesting isn’t it? Who would have thought by just taking the time to clip/print out a $1.00 coupon, not only did you save money, but you actually got an item for free.
