Basic Information about different Investments

There are many Filipinos who suffer financially. Most people get scammed from different quick rich scheme, while others they commit a sin to get some money. Money is not the root of all evil because money itself is neutral.

People will do anything to grow their hard-earned money. They usually invest on bank, cooperative, paluwagan, 5-6, or any investment scheme. But in that case their money is not 100% safe.

But Now, we live in the Information Age

We can let our money grow for us safely by using different investment vehicle such as stock market, is a share in the ownership of a company stock represents a claim on the company’s assets and earnings.

Mutual funds,

is an investment vehicle made up of a pool of funds collected from many investors for the purpose of investing in securities such as stocks, bonds, money market instruments and similar assets? Mutual funds are operated by money managers, who invest the fund’s capital and attempt to produce capital gains and income for the fund’s investors.

UITF’s or Unit Investment Trust Fund (UITF) is an open-ended pooled trust fund denominated in pesos or any acceptable currency, which is operated and administered by a trust entity and made available by participation. Each UITF product is governed by a Declaration of Trust (or Plan Rules) which contains the investment objectives of the UITF as well as the mechanics for investing, operating and administering the fund. 

Bonds, also known as a fixed-income security, is a debt instrument created for the purpose of raising capital. They are essentially loan agreements between the bond issuer and an investor, in which the bond issuer is obligated to pay a specified amount of money at specified future dates.

Variable Universal Life Insurance – VUL’

Variable universal life insurance (VUL) is a form of cash-value life insurance that offers both a death benefit and an investment feature. The premium amount for variable universal life insurance (VUL) is flexible and may be changed by the consumer as needed, though these changes can result in a change in the coverage amount.

Financial literacy is more important than money if you’re not taking control through your spending habits all your money will be lost sooner.
