The 2016 Toyota Innova  comes longer, wider, and taller than its predecessor and sports a sharper, more aggressive fascia. It has lean headlights that come with reflector halogen headlights for the base model, and LED projectors as well as daytime running lights for the V model.

This is complemented by an imposing grill and a curvaceous bumper. Checking the side profile, you can’t help but notice the sloping roof line, roof-mounted spoiler, and 16-inch metal alloy wheels

There are two new colors to choose from for this new generation model: Blackish Red Mica Metallic and Alumina Jade Metallic. The following previous colors are also available: Black, Freedom White, White Pear, Silver Metallic, and Blue Mica Metallic.

Powerful Engine

Under the hood of the 2016 Innova is a 2.8-liter GD turbodiesel engine with a power output of 171 PS and 360 Nm of torque, ensuring power for city driving or weekend trips with your family. There is also a 2.0-liter gasoline engine variant with 136 PS and 183 Nm of torque. Variants can come as either five-speed manual or six-speed automatic.

Safety and Other Features

The 2016 Innova comes with front airbags, driver knee airbags, an anti-lock brake system and vehicle stability control — all features that you’ve come to expect of a good brand and model. True to its category of multi-purpose vehicles, some variants come with easily adjustable and foldable second and third row seats for versatility. Some variants are packed full of cool features such as the smart push start with keyless entry, HD multi-information display, and touch screen audio with navigation.

The 2016 Innova’s price range is from Php 919,000 for the base model to Php 1,445,000 for the top V variant.
